 Pakistan Super League most successful franchise and 2 times HBLPSL Champions Islamabad United will play their opening match of PSL7 against 2017 winners Peshawar Zalmi who already win their first game of the season against Quetta Gladiators.

Islamabad United  led by Pakistan Cricket Team Spin Bowling All-rounder Shadab Khan.Islamabad United coached by Pakistan Cricket Team former Captain and All-rounder Azhar Mehmood.

Islamabad United Squad have some fantastic Pakistani players including Asif Ali, Faheem Ashraf,Azam Khan, Md Waseem Jnr and Azam Khan. Also they have some blastring foreign players in their roster like Alex Hales, Colin Munro, Merchant De Lange, Pual Stirling and Reece Topley.
